Stop ignoring Blaenau Gwent!
Ever since the entry onto the Heads of the Valleys road has been shut, Brynmawr and Beaufort have been in gridlock every day. This has been made worse by the Cwm to Aberbeeg road being closed at the same time.
This can't continue! It's making residents' lives miserable and commuters are stuck in traffic for hours.
It's predicted that this will go on for months, the scheme is massively over budget and extensively over schedule... and there's no end in sight!
We want the Welsh Government or Blaenau Gwent Council to come up with an alternative solution: Brynmawr and Beaufort are in gridlock and we can't go on like this for months on end. We need better planning when it comes to road closures, but what we need is for them to do something now to ease the congestion at peak times.
