A: Fly tipping is the single most troubling matter for me. In Blaenau Gwent our local wild spaces have been turned into wastelands strewn with everything from household waste to construction debris. Tons of rubbish is dumped along mountain roadsides every week and I see it at its worst in my local area of Tredegar. It’s not obvious to me that any significant action is being taken to combat the problem, save the odd futile sign pleading with people not to do it.
A: There’s a particular section of Gelli Road, Tredegar just as you exit left from Lidl that is being used as a kind of overflow parking facility for a local repair shop. It obscures view from junction, forces you into oncoming and obstructs pedestrian access as cars are parked on & off the pavement. It’s very dangerous and inconsiderate.
